Farewell Zeppelin [d-SLR]
...at the Lake of Constance, Germany
August 2005

For a fan of zeppelins and airships, staying at the Lake of Constance for two weeks was great since this airship flew over the lake two or three times a day. You can see other images of the zeppelin taken on different days here, and here.

Sean,
I love looking at your pictures. You motivated me into getting a Holga which has been fun. I do have a request for your blog - how about listing which camera you used for the photo? I'm assuming this one was taken with the Holga?
Thanks,
Richard

Richard....thanks for looking. Glad you're enjoying the images. This shot was taken with a digital SLR and cropped into a square format. What I have been doing is identifying the images that were shot with "non-standard" cameras (i.e., Holgas, pinhole, Brownie Twin), while not mentioning anything about the ones made wit a digital SLR. You make a good suggestion, thought, so in future I will add a note if the image was made with a digital SLR. Cool that you're now enjoying your own Holga. The joy of low tech!

This lake is not Constanz Lake but Bodensee

Yes, I know that in German it is referred to as the Bodensee (I lived in Germany for a couple of years), but in English it is referred to as the Lake of Contance...due to it's location near teh city of Konstanz.--Sean
