Dirty Feet [Canon 10D]
(click in the image to see a larger version)
Even though this image has lovely shallow depth of field, the aperture was not the celebrated f/1.4 from the title of this blog. The exposure was 1/60th at f/4.5. The 28-135mm zoom was extended to 41mm (you just gotta love metadata!).
In terms of Photoshop legerdemain, the only changes are the usual suspects of some burning, dodging, and my sepiaesque toning technique. The depth of field is straight from the lens.

Terrific dof and a great mood. I love her dirty feet.

I second that. Great DOF. Just makes you want to tickle those feet if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. I love the toning technique that you've used. Very subtle.

Quite often when you like some blog article, you are really glad to find links "related articles" and "learn more". But unfortunatelly even more often we fail to find such links, for me personally I have found a good way out - I copy the title of the article, place it into the search engine (the search will be more effective if you use http://www.pdfspirit.com/www-cangurul-ro-rezultate-2010 special pdf search engines on books and articles) and get tones of material I am interested in.
